First up is Scuba, a lovely bright sky blue. I can definitely see some sky/sea themed nail art happening with this one! As with the previous polishes in the collection, Scuba had a great formula which meant it was easy to apply and self-levelled pretty well. Shown here is two coats with topcoat.
The next polish I have to show you is potentially my favourite of the four. Flip Flop is a stunning bright orange and although corals are usually my favourite summer shade, this may win it this year! It was also so close to being a one coater so depending on how fussy you are, you may feel you can get away with it. Of course I'm super fussy so this swatch shows two coats with topcoat.
This bright yellow is aptly named Lemonade. Although admittedly, if my lemonade looked like this, I probably wouldn't drink it... I think I may have said this before but I am actually one of those people who doesn't mind yellow polish; I just don't choose to wear it very often. On the other hand, my mum's usual reaction to anything yellow is "eurgh" which is always funny. After two coats I found this still to be a bit streaky on a couple of nails, however, I know other people have managed it in two perfectly fine so maybe I'm just doing something weird! Pictured here is three coats and topcoat.
The final polish of the new releases is Popsicle, a beautiful bright raspberry. Mum where are you?! Let's place bets on how long until this ends up on her nails haha! Like Flip Flop this was almost a one coater, more so to be fair. However I didn't want to risk it because my bedroom light it pretty dodgy so I added another thin coat on top! Shown here is two coats and topcoat.
Overall I'm super impressed with these polishes. They definitely scream summer to me and I can't wait to finish placement so I can wear these for days on end. I saw lots of people calling out for a yellow and a green in this collection so at least we got one of the two! Well done to Barry M for either listening or having the same good ideas! After going through them all again I think I definitely have to stand by my comment about Flip Flop being my favourite. I don't know what it is, maybe the almost neon aspect to it? We all know I love neons! I'll be doing some nail art with these soon so keep an eye out for that on my Instagram.
You can buy all four polishes now for a very reasonable price of £4.99 from Superdrug and Boots, online and in store. The good news is both stores currently have a buy one get one half price offer so you can buy pretties and save a few pennies!
