Barry M Gelly S/S 16 Polishes

Hey everyone! Today I've got swatches on the new polishes in the Barry M Gelly collection. I have already posted some photos on Instagram but as usual my post will have more photos and of course more detail about the polish and what I thought!

Pink Lemonade is a very pale pink and while it looks really nice on other people, unfortunately it blends a bit too well with my skin tone. This was three coats however all the other swatches I've seen have used two coats so I think I may have just done some dodgy application!

Butterscotch Sundae is a pale toffee (or butterscotch I guess?!) colour and this was two coats.

Third of the new gellies is Acai Smoothie a gorgeous pinky purple. I think this is my favourite purely because it works best with my skintone (and obviously it is also just super nice!). Again this was two coats.

The last of the new polishes is Cream Soda an almost yellow cream. This is great on its own and I can also definitely see this being a great base for nail art! This swatch was two coats.

As usual I was very impressed with these, Barry M never fail to deliver, especially with the Gelly polishes! One of the best things (in my opinion) about these is that they have the flat brush so application is even smoother and easier which of course is fabbb. Also, I didn't use a topcoat for any of these swatches so you can really see how shiny the Gelly polishes are. Definitely don't have any complaints from me here!

Have you tried any of the new polishes from Barry M? What's your favourite?

  1. Love these Gellys and agree that Acai Smoothie is a winner. I do love Pink Lemonade though!
