I obviously then had to chop all my nails off because let's face it, there was no saving that! Of course that meant I was rocking some serious nubbins. Now I have no problem with short nails on other people, I just don't particularly like them on me, especially for nail art and photo taking which is why I haven't done any the last couple of weeks... Take a look at my little nubs *crying face*.
Whilst this was definitely very heartbreaking it was almost kind of a good thing because in the last two weeks at uni I had four deadlines so lots of work to do. I'm very good at putting nails and blogging before uni work (sorry mum!) because it's more fun so at least this way I didn't really have a choice. Of course I have still been painting my nails but I've just been wearing plain polish.
These are just two of the polishes I've worn and are both from Danglefoot Polish. The first is Wine O'clock, a gorgeous dark pink glitter and second is Oh My Glob which I got in a grab bag. I think this has become one of my favourite glitter polishes. It's just sparkly and silver and blue and purple and who knows what else. So beautiful. If you go to my Instagram I've got a video of this doing its sparkle thing in the sunlight!
Anyway as I said I am super sorry I've been rubbish at posting again but my nails are a kinda decent length now so I will be returning soon!
