Glisten & Glow Experience The Islands Collection

Hi everyone! Looks like I'm not quite back into blogging regularly... For now I think I'll just stick to once a week until I get used to my new busy schedule. Tonight I have some more swatches for you woo! Last week I finally got my hands on the Experience The Islands Collection by Glisten & Glow from Rainbow Connection. I've wanted this collection ever since I first set my eyes on it really...if it contained a purple it would pretty much be all my favourite colour cremes! Anyway, lets take a look shall we?

These are my first ever polishes from Glisten & Glow so I was interested to see what they were like. Of course HK Girl is my favourite topcoat so I had high hopes! Snorkel in St. Thomas is a lovely bright blue and shown here is two coats with no topcoat. I actually didn't use a topcoat for any of these swatches because I literally had none left *cries*. Anyway has you can see the polish is pretty shiny by itself!

Parasail in Puerto Rico is possibly my favourite shade from this collection. I'm such a sucker for coral polishes! I had to use three coats for this swatch but two would definitely have been fine if I had a topcoat to put over it.

Bungee Jump in the Bahamas is probably my second favourite...I'm sure you've noticed that I like mint shades too haha. Again this is shown with three coats but I could have got away with two had I had topcoat.

The last polish in the collection is ATV in Aruba. I love this deep pink berry shade and it's also usually the type of shade I'd paint on my mums nails so I'm sure she'll be wearing this at some point! I used two coats for this swatch.

Overall I was definitely very impressed with this collection. The formula was fab on all four and all super easy to apply which is always great with a creme polish. The problem now is I know that I like Glisten & Glow polishes and want more!

Since they've been released I've seen soo many people do watermarbles with them so of course little old novice me had to have a go too. Unfortunately I don't have a picture to share with you because I managed to ruin they before I took any photos. Nice one Abigail... I'll try again at some point and post it on Instagram so if you want to see then make sure you're following me here

Got a busy week this week as obviously I'll be working, on Tuesday it's my birthday (wooooooooo!!) so my parents are comng to see me and then on the weekend I'll be going home for a couple of days. I'll try and organise another post before I go away but I'm making no promises!
