Painted Polish Fall Festival Collection

I guess I'm still not back into a proper schedule... I'm working on it though! To make up for not posting for a while I have some verrry new polishes to share with you today and I'm getting into the Autumn spirit! These are four out of six from the Fall Festival Collection by Painted Polish and I was seriously excited for these to be released. If you haven't heard of them, Painted Polish is an indie brand from San Jose, CA. Like most indies this of course means each bottle is made by hand and the polish is cruelty free so no testing on animals! This collection was released by Painted Polish on the 1st September but of course I got them from Rainbow Connection which only released them last Thursday. They arrived yesterday so I swatched them last night and here we are!

As you can probably tell they are four totally different polishes which is so nice to have in a collection. I'm going to start with the creme polish Stamped in Wine which is a lovely deep aubergine that can also be used for stamping. They claim this is a one coater and I can confirm that this is in fact true! Swatch shows one coat with Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat.

Sweaters & Spices is a white crelly packed with garnet, green and gold glitters. Definitely perfect for Autumn (or Fall if you're not in the UK). This is actually only my second crelly polish with the first being another Painted Polish one but I do really like them. There's no hard work trying to push the glitters into a specific place, it's just so easy and of course, looks good! Shown here is two coats with Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat.

The third polish is absolutely definitely my favourite and I think you'll see why pretty quickly. Vineyards & Velvet is, as described on the Painted Polish site, "a vampy raspberry wine jelly packed with bright pink microglitters". Admittedly I'd say its more purple than "raspberry wine" but who cares, it's just stunning. The formula for this was amazing too. You always know a polish is good when you have very little clean up to do after! This swatch shows two coats with Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat.

The final polish I have to show you is Harvest Moon & Hayrides, a beautiful gold/bronze microglitter holo polish. If you don't have this sort of gold glitter in your collection then you need it asap! I can tell this is going to get used A LOT. Again, shown here is two coats with Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat.

If you're interested, the other two polishes in the collection that I didn't get were an olive creme/stamper and a glitter polish that was made up of the same glitters that were in Sweaters & Spices. The olive just didn't really appeal to me and the glitter polish actually looks lovely but I was trying to have some self restraint haha! Prior to these I only had two Painted Polish's which I got recently but I am definitely super impressed with this brand! Also for once I actually did some nail art with the polishes after swatching so I'll show you that now.

As you can probably guess I used Harvest Moon & Hayrides as the base and stamped over it using Stamped in Wine and MoYou London Hipster 08. So that's a big tick for Stamped in Wine and it's stamping ability yep? I sort of feel like this are almost slightly Christmassy nails woops! Anyway I guess this has been rather a lot so I'll end it before I get even more carried away. I'm going away this weekend with my boyfriend so the likelihood of getting another post up this week is slim... I'll definitely be back next week though!
