As you may be able to guess, the Succulents plate features a fab array of succulent images. You've got individual little ones, negative space images and some larger images that can cover the whole nail. UberChic really know how to pack a lot of choice into a mini plate! Below is a photo of the plate that I've taken from the UberChic website so you can see all the choices for yourself. I LOVE succulents so this really is the perfect plate for me. You should see the amount of plants I have now that I've moved into my own flat!
Now, onto the nail art that I created! The first mani I did was inspired by the lovely @themermaidpolish on Instagram and I'm actually really pleased with how it came out! To start, I used 'Song of the Ood' from Danglefoot Polish and then stamped purple squares on two of my nails using MoYou London 'Purple Rain' and Lina Nail Art Supplies 'Feeling Shapely 09'. I then used Painted Polish 'Midnight Mischief' that I bought from Rainbow Connection UK to stamp the various succulent images over the top. I initially used a normal topcoat but quickly decided it would look better matte so went over it with the Barry M Matte topcoat.
The next mani I chose to do used the large negative space image. I'm a big fan of a multi-coloured smoosh with negative space so how could I resist! I dug out my trusty old Pretty Serious pastels and used 'Fluffykins', 'Bunny Foo Foo', 'Doodle Bug' and 'Cutie Patootie' for the smoosh and then stamped again with 'Midnight Mischief' on top.
Hope you enjoyed this post!
