Hi everyone! Today I have some nail art that is a little more silly and lighthearted than usual. I was trying to do some nail stuff the other day and it was just all going wrong and nothing seemed to be working. In the end I just kind of gave up with it and threw my hands in the air. Eventually I went and had a rummage through my stamping plates, picked one I hadn't used yet and came up with a new, but simple idea. I went for something bright as I clearly needed the cheering up and I've been using a lot of greens and blues lately. The funniest thing was, as silly as it was, I ended up loving the mani and didn't want to take it off!
I started with a good ol' smoosh base using 'Banana Smoothie', 'Daisy' and 'White Van Girl' from 'Ard As Nails. This was actually partly inspired by this yellow smoosh mani that Becca did a few weeks ago. For the stamping I used Bundlemonster Kawaii Emoji BM-XL322 that I got from Nail Art UK last year. I have a couple of the other kawaii plates and they're so cute so I definitely need to play with them more! I stamped these little smiling bananas using Painted Polish 'Midnight Mischief' from Rainbow Connection.
The 'Ard As Nails cremes really are great for a lot of things! I've been using them more recently which was very well timed as Kat is now running a giveaway on Instagram to win a set of the newest additions which will be releasing at the end of this month. I've already swatched them and I can tell you now, they are fab!
So, what did you think of this mani? Should I use the kawaii plates more?
