Barry M Coconut Infusion Nail Paints Swatches & Review

Hello! Today I'm sharing five of the nail paints from Barry M's new Coconut Infusion range. There are nine polishes in the range all together; five bright colours and four nudes. I chose the five coloured polishes as I've said many a time before that I'm not really a fan of nude polishes on me so I didn't want to waste my money. They do look great on other people though! The polish contains coconut water and coconut oil so supposedly "gently hydrates and nourishes nails while delivering a beautifully smooth, gel-like glossy manicure". I can't say much about the care that it did for my nails as I didn't have it on long enough but it definitely had a glossy finish as you'll see in the photos below!

Bikini is a great summery green in two easy coats. I'll say now, I didn't use a topcoat for any of these swatches so all that shine you can see is the polishes themselves!

Aloha is a bright pink that I originally thought was very similar/the same as Get Set Go from the Speedy Collection so was dubious about buying it. What convinced me was seeing Alice's (One Nail To Rule Them All) blog post on the collection as she also put up comparison photos for each polish which you can see here. This swatch was two coats.

Surfboard is lovely pale pink/lilac. Only just about suits me thanks to the minimal tan I got on holiday haha! This was still a little streaky after two coats so I ended up using three overall.

Flamingo was surprisingly one of my favourites of the five. This bright peachy orange just makes me so excited for summer! Like Surfboard it needed three coats to get rid of any streakiness but as they didn't really take a lot time to dry, I didn't mind that much.

Last up is Laguna, a beautiful sky blue. With Eat My Dust from the Speedy range being one of my favourite blues for Spring/Summer, I just knew this was also going to be a winner. This swatch was two coats.

The formula for all of these polishes was fab. I'd say they were similar to the ones from the Sunset range which kinda makes sense, what with the gel-like finish and all. Of course they also have the wide brush which all the recent collections have had and I'm so pleased Barry M have stuck with it. It really does make painting a lot easier, even on little nails like mine. Definitely hoping they release more shades in this range in the future! Which one is your favourite?

You can buy the Coconut Infusion collection now for £4.99 from both Boots and Superdrug and of course, Barry M's website. Boots and Superdrug both have offers on so I'd recommend going to them if you can!

Hope to see you in the next post!
