Summer Florals and Polka Dots

What day is it? It's new mani day! Painting my nails is definitely becoming more of an obsession than it was before.. While I was doing todays nails my sister walked in and said "You're painting your nails? AGAIN?!". That sums it up really doesn't it. Pretty much all I've done the past few days is look at different nail bloggers and it's been great fun. Anyway, onto the nails!

I can't even tell you how much I love these, the photos really don't do them justice. Normally when I do polka dots on my nails they just look cramped and messy so I'm very happy these look relatively okay, even if they don't show up well. I also love floral patterns so I couldn't help but add on some little roses (sort of!).

For these nails I used mostly Barry M nails polishes (as usual). Sugar Apple from the Gelly collection was used for the base and is a lovely summery mint green/blue which I will definitely be using lots. I did the polka dots and the white on the roses in Matt White and the base for the roses in Sugar Plum, also from the Gelly collection. The dark pink on the roses was just a little polish from one of those cheap nail sets you get at Christmas.

So as I said I really love this mani, it's pretty simple but it still looks nice. Well, that's what I think anyway! I'm just glad it actually turned out like I imagined. What do you think?
