Helloo! I'm back today with another swatch/review post, yippee! I will get back to doing nail art at some point but I just have so many new polishes at the moment, it's going a bit crazy, especially as I've just started uni again. Anyway, today I'm going to be talking about the two limited edition sparkling polishes that Barry M have just released from their Gelly collection exclusive to Superdrug.
First up is Sparkling Amethyst, a super shiny, sparkly deep purple.
Like all the other gelly polishes from Barry M, it applies perfectly. For these swatches I used two coat and no topcoat. I couldn't quite capture the colour of the polish in these photos, it is definitely more purple in real life and so pretty!
The other limited edition polish is Sparkling Ruby and like the name suggests, it is a gorgeous sparkly red.
Again I only used two coats and no topcoat. In case anyone's wondering, yes the polishes are sparkly but they aren't glitter polishes so you don't have to spend ages fighting with it to get it off your nails which is always a bonus!
My favourite thing about these polishes is that they have the round flat brush that has been used for the Speedy and Sunset polishes! I'm so happy they've made it to the Gelly collection and I hope it stays. I've seen some people complain that it makes it harder for those of us with small nails but I'd just like to say I really don't have a problem with it. As long as you're careful about the amount of polish you put on the brush, you should be able to paint your nails without making a massive mess.
All in all, yet again Barry M have done me proud and though I tried to resist buying these two polishes, I'm very glad I caved in!
