31DC2015: Violet

I was really excited to do this day as purple is my favourite colour and I have quite a few purple polishes. I attempted the dry brush technique for the first time and I'm unsure as to whether I like what I've done. 

 I began with a base of Coconut (again!) and then stroked with the 'dry' brushes using Need for Speed, Lap of Honour, Persian and Fondant all from Barry M. I also used Vant To Bite My Neck? from OPI. 

 As usual I think all the other dry brush nails I've seen look so much better than mine. I never know if it's because they actually are bad or because it's my own and you always think your stuff is worse in comparison to others? Anyhow these were my violet nails for day seven!
