Autumn Trees

Today I finally have a mani for the new season! This was inspired by Cristie from knightowlnails on Instagram and if you like nail art and don't follow her then you definitely should! She particularly does a lot of great stamping which I am very jealous of. 

 For a change I used a variety of different brands and a couple of polishes I haven't really used before. The brown polish is Chic in Chelsea from Rimmel London and the kinda nude colour on the accent nails is Vanilla from Barry M. For the orange/gold of the trees I mixed together Garnet and Primadonna from Danglefoot Polish to try and get a better glitter texture. Didn't quite work out as planned but it's acceptable I suppose!

 Of course being the clumsy person I am, I managed to knock my little finger nail on the door when I was going outside to take photos hence the dent in the polish.. But overall I'm relatively pleased with these nails. Of course I prefer Cristie's originals, however, as I'm just getting back into doing nail art I'll forgive myself for not totally loving these. Definitely excited for more Autumn nails now though, just need to see when I have time to paint!
