Return in Purple

Well...I think it's safe to say my second year of uni is very busy! I wish I could do my nails and blog more than I currently am but unfortunately that just isn't an option right now. I'd like to be optimistic and say things will settle down but considering I have January exams I don't think that will happen. Maybe I'll just have to figure out some super organisation thing so I can do everything I want in the limited time I have... Anyway I digress, I finally have some nail art for you! Granted it's only two accent nails that have been stamped but that's better than nothing right?

For this mani I used Barry M Prickly Pear for the base and stamped using The Treblemakers from Freckles Polish and Fashionista Collection plate 08 from MoYou London. I've used two of Julieann's polishes for stamping now and I can definitely say they work well! If you want to have a look at my other recent attempt at stamping then head on over to my Instagram. 

 Although the stamping doesn't quite stand out as much I'd originally planned, I quite like the effect it has although for the life of me I can't figure out what word I want to use to describe that effect! *face palm* 

 Added a couple of extra photos today to show the detail a bit more and to make up for the nail art deprivation we've all been suffering! Eased myself in slowly with this mani, hopefully I'll get more creative soon. Next on my list is some Autumn and Halloween nails! I've seen some great ones on Instagram so I'm definitely not short on inspiration, it's just finding out whether my lack of artistic skills are up to the job!
