Flowers in Bloom

Today's design is very bright and summery - the total opposite of the weather we are currently experiencing here in England! Florals are definitely a big favourite of mine and not just for nail art so I'm actually quite surprised it's taken me this long to do a floral based design. This post will be quite photo heavy compared to usual so I'll try not to write too much.

The base polish I used is Barry M Coconut as shown in my previous blog post. For the flowers I used Need for Speed, Road Rage, Sugar Plum, Blueberry and Matt White from Barry M and Rose Libertine and Berries and Cream from Rimmel London. The dots inside the flowers were done with the black and white nail art pens and OPI Jade Is The New Black was used for the leaves.

 

I'm so pleased with how these nails turned out and unfortunately I don't think the photos do them justice (probably my lack of photo skills again).
